Green T-shirt and White Pants

Since I am not allowed to wear jeans to work one of my biggest go to is white pants. Right now, whites and browns are big so I love that I can create a lot of good outfits with the many pairs of white pants that I have. One thing I find with trouser style pants is that it can be hard to wear them with boots. During the winter I struggle to wear my trousers because it is cold, and I want to wear boots. Many of my boots aren’t the right length for my pants so I must wear heels which can feel cold sometimes. I find that closed toe heels are not so bad, so it is what I have been wearing. It gets annoying when you don’t have many options of closed toe heels so I’m excited for spring and summer! I just bought two pairs of strappy heels from Steve Madden so now I’m hoping for the warm weather to come around.

Weekly Outfit Inspiration

I have not been posting much the last few weeks, but my weekly outfit inspiration posts are a must because I really do need that inspiration. I’ve mentioned it before that I really enjoy doing theses post and find them helpful for my outfits during the week. I have been taking my workouts very seriously and that is why I have not been posting through out the week. My evenings feel so short during the week sometimes. Since I work an office job with a 8 to 5 schedule it can be hard to get a lot of things done. Having a 1 hour commute does not help but I try to make the most of my time after work. With spring and summer coming around, there will be more hours of sun so more opportunity to take pictures! One thing I need to do is utilize my weekends more productively. That will be one of my goals these next couple of weeks. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy this weeks outfit ideas!

I finally did a little shopping this weekend. My intent was to find a pair of work shoes, preferably a pair of nude colored closed toe heels. I went to a few stores, but didn’t find a pair that I really loved and if I did it was way out of my price range. What I did buy was two pairs if pants for work and a cute blouse. I am excited to style the those because they are not very simple or basic. The top is polka dots and the pants are plaid. Hopefully I’ll be sharing them soon!

I have been feeling very motivated these last few weeks since i started getting really into bullet journaling. I have had a bullet journal for over a year now but just last month started really using more. I bought a couple new supplied like markers and stickers and tapes. I have always loved arts and crafts, so it has been very fun. It definitely feels like an outlet sometimes. I love to come home from a tiring day and just start drawing and planning and designing. Besides being an outlet for me it has kept me much more on top of things and like i mentioned motivated. I started doing yoga again and working out again. It has helped so much with keeping my blog schedule too! I hope you all enjoy today’s looks!

Fall Outfit: Plaid Blazer

I can undoubtedly say I have gotten so much use out of this blazer. It has become such a staple this last year, especially during the colder months. I love that that grey plaid matches very easily with a lot of my clothes and instantly elevates and outfit since it is a blazer. My favorite color to wear it with has absolutely been nude and off whites. I cannot get enough of that color combination. I added a brown belt that I bought a few days ago and love how it changed the look to a more casual feel. I can already tell that I am going to wear this belt habitually, especially for spring. It will look great with florals! I hope everyone has a fun Friday!!

Outfit Idea: Dr. Martens

I have decided to try this outfit idea post because one of the things I love the most is creating outfits. This outfit is more like dream outfit since they are items most likely way out of my price range. I can say I love every item in this post and can only dream of purchasing these. I have considered buying a pair of Dr. Martens but because they are such an investment, I haven’t decided on it yet. I love doing these outfit collages because it allows you to style outfits with so many options. I used to use Polyvore until the website was sold and shut down. Now I am using Shoplook which isn’t as great as Polyvore but it allows me to do similar things. I enjoyed creating this outfit so much so you can be sure to see some more of these posts!

I have been loving all the different prints and patterns this last year. One of the biggest being paid. It continues to be a big one for any season really. I still haven’t given in to the snakeskin trend, I have yet to find something I will feel comfortable wearing. Nonetheless, I love all the different ways it has been styled! I especially love this first one with the beige colors.

I have been wearing this coat so much the last few weeks since I got it. I feel like the color matches almost everything in my wardrobe! I had so many outfits with it so I decided to make one single post featuring the different ways I have been wearing it. This one was only $20 at the store Q, but it has kept me so warm! It is perfect for nights that you will be spending outdoors like bon fires or walking at an outdoor mall. I always grab it when I know I’m going to be outside and it will be cold. I has been a perfect addition to my wardrobe. I love that this one has a lapel because it makes it look a little more formal even though the fluffy texture is so casual. I have seen so many different variations of color, style and length for these coats. I hope to get a more casual style one before it gets too hot.

Pink Blazer & Plaid

I felt like barbie when I wore this outfit! Paired with the leggings and the plaid heels it just felt so girly and a little 80s. I’m not sure if you can see the shoe pattern, but it is gray plaid and I loved that it was a bit of a statement shoe. I actually paired it with my plaid back pack that you can’t really see.. but it is the exact same plaid color as the shoe! I typically don’t like to match exact patters, but this look was an exception, it looked perfect!
